When does this fool give Lang a chance! This is about give and take!He sped up the beat ,doesn’t listen to the backing track and just all around sucks.

I know what you’re saying. This turned into a bit of a one man show. I think Lang needs to ditch the electronics and get on real kit!

  3. Joe Says:

It is called show boating at it’s best. Thomas Lang did not show his chops for some reason almost like he was giving the show to Pridgen for some reason. Your right can the electronics Tom Lang….

That’s what electronic drum did to you: soulless sounding, no aucoustic timbre and ambient. No way Thomas Lang can compete with his V-drums. Even with aucoustic drum, Thomas Pridgen was just too ferocious with his attack to cope with at leats volumne wise. He holds his sticks long, it has more mass attack against the drum there it sound very full, IMO though that way makes you lose a bit of speed, but way more full body sound. I hold it like that too. At loud volumne: more mass hit the drum, better it responds and sound.Lang was very flashy at times but Mono tone of V-drum are sucks big time against DW
